University of Greenwich (Vietnam) won the third prize at ACAWC 2018

Dao Khanh Hoa- a student of University of Greenwich (Vietnam) normally called as FPT Greenwich, excellent won the third prize in the Adobe Certified Associate World Championship 2018 (ACAWC 2018).

On June 12, the Organizing Committee of the Adobe Certified Associate World Championship 2018 (ACAWC 2018) held by Certiport Group (USA), recently organized the closing and award ceremony.

The contest aims to bring Vietnamese youth the opportunity to learn about international assessment standards in the field of design, thereby contributing to improve the quality of the country’s creativity.

This was also the first year the contest was held in Vietnam, attracting the participation of nearly 120 contestants from 30 high schools, colleges and universities all over the country. Of which, there were many universities and colleges in graphic design and more than 20% of them were high schools in the country.

The organizers has honored 11 individuals. Among them, Ms. Nguyen Tran Thao Nguyen from Ho Chi Minh City Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, excellently won the first prize.

FPT had 5 students who were listed in the top 10 excellent candidates. In particular, Dao Khanh Hoa- University of Greenwich (Vietnam) excellent won the third prize.

In addition, 39 candidates who gained 700 points, received the international design certificate of Adobe Certified Associate.

The champion will represent Vietnam in the world finals in Orlando, Florida, USA, from July 29 to August 1. Participating in the world finals will have the opportunity to receive first prize worth USD 7,000, second prize worth USD 3,500, third prize worth USD 1,500, etc.

The Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) World Championship presented by Certiport, Inc. is a global competition that tests students’ design skills using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Top students are invited to represent their respective countries at the World Championship where they will create a designated design project for Certiport’s chosen nonprofit client. In some countries or regions, students are required to participate in a National Championship, and the winners of that event continue on to the World Championship.
