Swinburne University of Technology has a history of 110 years in Melbourne, in the state of Victoria, Australia. Swinburne is an internationally recognized university and a provider of a range of certificates, diplomas, degrees and post-graduate programs both in Australia and overseas. As a century growing up, Swinburne has continuously committed to innovative education and strengthen industry engagement and social inclusion. Until now, Swinburne has been a large and culturally diverse organisation.
Meanwhile, FPT Education (a member of FPT Corporation – Vietnam’s largest global IT service company in the private sector) with its 20 years of establishment has now become a leading private education in Vietnam. FPT Education focuses on developing a ‘new generation university’ with a modern educational philosophy which combines training activities with the actual need for skills in the country, leveraging Vietnam to a level at which it can compete with developed countries in the world.
With the same focus on digital transformation for social and economic impact and delivering a highly skilled workforce as Vietnam embraces Industry 4.0, FPT Education and Swinburne finally made a decision to collaborate with each other in April 2019 and started the first classes in September this year.
