South Korea’s leading online university visited and worked at FPT University

On the morning of May 24, Seoul Cyber University (South Korea) visited and worked with FPT University. The meeting opened up cooperative opportunities between the two universities, including the coordination in implementing some subjects on the online platform of Seoul Cyber University.

The delegation of Seoul Cyber University led by Ms. Lee Eun Joo – Rector, Mr. Park Byoung Seok – Vice Rector/ Korean Language and Culture Professor, Mr. Koo Guk Mo – Director of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Ahn Samuel- Director of Plus International; paid a working visit to FPT University in Hoa Lac Campus. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phong – Vice Rector of FPT University expressed his joy to welcome the delegation to visit the headquarters of FPT University.

During the meeting, the two sides had time to introduce the training model of each school. In particular, the two universities also discussed on the training contents that the two sides can cooperate such as the implementation of Seoul Cyber University’s online platform for some courses at FPT University.

In the context of Industry Revolution 4.0, the flexible combination between online platforms and technology elements with traditional training content is considered to be the essential factors, helping students to remove many geographic barriers in the process of acquiring knowledge and saving time and resources. It is expected that the coordination between FPT University and Seoul Cyber University will soon be implemented for FPT University students.

“This is an open learning method that help students arrange their studies, especially for students who have part- time job,” Ms. Nguyen Hoang Yen- representative of FUNIX (an online training system at FPT University).

Previously, Seoul Cyber University visited the Hoa Lac campus of FPT University. Ms. Lee Eun Joo was fascinated and surprised by the meaning of the drum at the Beta lecture theater and the story behind the mascot representing FPT University students.
