Seven- day journey at Loc Uyen Monastery in Da Lat

Lying on the winding slope of the foggy city – Da Lat, Loc Uyen Monastery will be the destination of FPT students to experience and learn about meditation in a tranquil space from August 28 to September 1, 2017.

Away from the hustle and bustle of urban life, students will wear a blue shirt and experience a peaceful life at Loc Uyen Monastery in Da Lat.

During 7 days of meditation, students will participate in activities such as meditation, praying, cooking, listening to preach, and building a campfire. Students are not allowed to use any electronics or technology during their participation in the meditation.

Especially, on the 4th day, students will light the candles to show their gratitude towards the past and the forgotten values due to the hustle of daily life.

This trip is an opportunity for FPTU students to experience and learn about meditation in a tranquil space at a Buddhist monastery.

On the sixth day of the meditation session, the students will conduct and organize group games with children at local elementary schools. This is a regular activity to show FPT students’ concern and connect them closely with local people.

In addition to sports and other activities that students can attend at FPT University in Ho Chi Minh City, the 7-day journey is a strange activity that many students love to try.
