Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Corporation (Petrobangla) had signed training contract with FPT University and send 23 middle and top managers to come to FPT University, Hanoi campus to study Advanced IT training course in 10 days.
The first group with 11 Petrobangla officers include Deputy General Manager, IT Directors and Managers have reached to Hanoi and (from 30th March to 10th April, 2017) participating in workshops and visiting different locations at FPT university, FPT software, Data centers as well as charming historical places in Hanoi.
The most important objective of the Bangladeshis during their trip to Vietnam is to take part in various program activities with a number of topics: ICT Overview in Vietnam, Project Management, ERP, Cyber Security Prepaid Metering System Overview and Team Building activities. Those classes will be under the supervision of Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Huong, the President of FPT Global Office (FGO), along with other several lecturers and IT experts from FIS, Skymap Singapore.
Mr. Biswajit, the main leader, on behalf of the crew from Bangladesh, told us the lessons have effectively served their common purposes. They paid very close attention to the lecturers during the class time and found every detail useful to their business, especially the technical side they are in charge of.
“We all come here for the same purpose, the lecturers are excellent and the lessons are effective.” Said Mr. Biswajit.
The Bangladeshi group also pays a visit to different buildings and companies of FPT University. This tour is expected to provide to the visitors an opportunity to see how developed the technology and education in Vietnam in general, and at FPT University particularly, are.
Last but not least, this trip is an occasion for the Bangladeshis to explore the local life in Hanoi, namely ‘Cha ca La Vong’, Hochiminh museum, Van Mieu literature and a night visit at Old Quarter. They expressed their interest in Ha Long Bay as well, and planned a one-day journey to one of the world’s heritages.
The success of this training will open new opportunities for both parties to further cooperation in both education and ICT as well. The second group will come on 28th April 2017.
