Meet the owner of gold medal in the Japanese Olympic 2018 in the North

With the gold medal in the Japanese Olympic in the North in 2018, a students of FPT University majoring in Japanese Language – Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang could not hide her happiness and proud.

“This test has helped me get the B standard certificate of the AD J.TEST, which is considered to be more than N1 that allow me to work in Japan,” Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang shared.

The first Japanese Olympic competition was held by J.TEST Vietnam for students of the top 5 universities on Japanese language training including Hanoi University, Hanoi Foreign Trade University, Hanoi National University, Thang Long University and FPT University. Each university selects 20 students who have a Japanese N2 level or higher to take the exam.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang – a students of FPT University majoring in Japanese Language won the gold medal in the Japanese Olympic in the North in 2018.

After the competition on 9 September 2018, at the Hanoi University, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang and the four contestants with highest score were selected to participate in the interview with J.TEST Vietnam. Here she successfully conquered the organizer and took the gold medal.

Huyen Trang is also happy to share that the exam fee was sponsored by FPT University. In addition, the Japanese teachers also showed very enthusiastic support.

“I feel that learning Japanese with the Dekiru Nihongo textbook at FPT University makes me feel different with other schools. This curriculum updates many knowledge, vocabulary and grammar close to life, so after only finishing elementary level, many students have enough knowledge to live and study in Japan,” said Ms. Trang.

In addition, Japanese lectures are also her motivation to get the success. “I really like the examination of Mr. Cuong because if I get 100 points, he will give me a reward to motivate me. And Ms. Ikeda always help me improve my communication skill in Japanese,” she said.

Trang and her class organized birthday party for their lecture.

“In November 2016, I was able to join an exchange semester at Bunkyo University in Japan, this is a very valuable opportunity for me,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang. “Here, I met with international teachers and friends, visited Fuji Mountain, as well as experienced Japanese cultural festival. Every opportunity that FPT University offered me is a great encouragement for me to pursue my dream. I am currently preparing for the graduation. Upon graduation, I aim to study Master’s degree in Psychology in Japan”.
