FSB won two training program worth VND 18 billion

On August 15, FPT School of Business (FSB) officially signed the contract of two training programs with SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) Support Center under Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment. With the total value of VND 18 billion (approximately USD800,000), it is the largest training contract of FSB.

According to the contract, FSB will organise 2 training programs including “Start- up business” under “Support training and fostering human resources for SMEs in Hanoi in 2017” and “CEO – Advanced Management in Industry 4.0 era” under “Support training knowledge for CEO in Hanoi in 2017 “of Hanoi SME Support Center.

The “CEO – Advanced Management in Industry 4.0 era” program aims to provide business managing directors an up-to-date and professional management system that enables them to run their businesses more effectively. The program consists of 10 classes with 25-30 people per class. The classes will be organised in the evenings, weekends or during office hours. The first class will be opened by the end of August 2017.

Notably, in addition to 28 days studying in the class that will spread over 3 months, the trainees will have 5 Study tour in domestic Top 500 VNR enterprises and 8 days of field trips to overseas enterprises (in Thailand or other countries in the region). During this time, Vietnamese administrators will have the opportunity to study with international experts and experience with the Top 1000 Forbes. The city budget will support 65% of total tuition fee including both domestic and overseas study periods (full cost of study, transportation and accommodation).

“Start- up business” program includes 15 classes, of which 7 start-up classes and 8 business management courses for 2,080 trainees who are SMEs directors, senior managers and who are planning to start a business in Hanoi. The program is implemented for 5 months from August 2017 to December 2017. Students will be supported with 50% of tuition fee from the city budget.

All participants will be equipped with management system updated from leading professors and doctors. In addition, trainees have opportunities to learn practical lessons from successful CEOs such as Associate Professor Dr. Truong Gia Binh (Chairman of FPT Corporation), Dr. Do Tien Long (Human Resource and Strategy Specialist), Dr. Nguyen Thanh Nam (former CEO of FPT), Dr. Hoang Trung Dung (Deputy General Director of Tasco Group),etc.

These two training programs are part of the plan to support the development of human resources for SMEs in Hanoi in the period from 2016 to 2020 of the Hanoi SMEs Support Center under the city’s Department of Planning and Investment.

The head of FSB- Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang is also committed to make great efforts in the coming time to deploy the two programs effectively. He also showed his desired to accompany Hanoi SMEs Support Center in the future training programs for enterprises.
