FPTU has shaped me to be more mature

A sharing of a graduate in the second commencement ceremony 2017 in the Alumnibook 2017.

In 2012, I started to apply to FPT University in Hanoi. I’m very honored to join the first course that officially studied in Hoa Lac campus. Therefore, I have witnessed FPT Hoa Lac changing day by day.

At the beginning, Hoa Lac is much different in comparison with now. It is rudimentary and very quiet. No Internet, no canteen and not much services like now. There are only two dormitory A and B. After 5 years, FPT has changed a lot, but the image of FPT Hoa Lac in the first year never fades in my mind.

I still remember the days when I had to queue up to the 2nd floor of dom A, when 12 people shared a room or when I was going to learn skating. It’s never enough to talk about all memory at FPT University.

To graduate from FPT University is really a big challenge. Waiting for exam result almost freak me out every semester. My nightmare is Chinese class. I still remembered before the exams, I had to spend a lot of time to learn by heart, write and memorize. Other subjects do not require to learn by heart but they have a system of exercises and practices from the beginning to the end of the semester. Teachers and lecturers checked it frequently and randomly so we had to do all the exercises. AT FPT University, studying overnight is considered as “daily meal”.

A teacher told me that  “the most valuable things you get when you’re in college is not the knowledge but it is relationship”. When hearing this statement, I was thinking a lot. The friendship at FPT University will be the most wonderful and precious gift in my life.

It’s never enough to write about memories at FPT University. During my time studying here, I had a lot of mindfulness and there will always the best memory of my life. Thank FPT for teaching me, shaping me to be more mature as I am today. Thanks for giving me a lot of good memories. I hope FPT will grow more and become perfect so I could feel proud of the school that I have chosen when I return to visit it.
