FPT University students to discover Japan at the JAPAN INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

On the morning of May 28, many FPT University students recently attended the JAPAN INTERNSHIP PROGRAM to be able to join an internship in Japan.

The event was organized by the Student Affairs Department to introduce to FPT University students about the JAPAN INTERNSHIP PROGRAM.

The event has witnessed the attendance of Mrs. Inagaki Narumi – PasonaTech Company Manager; Mr. Nguyen Cuong – Head of Japanese Language Department at FPT University, lecture Ms. Lai Xuan Thu, lecture Yasuo Fukuda Sensei and students who are in love with the land of the rising sun and are interested in the event.

JAPAN INTERNSHIP PROGRAM is a short-term internship program lasting for 2 to 3 months in Japan. The program is entrusted by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Trade (METI) to Pasona Group. The program focuses on the students from developing countries to help them have the opportunity to learn about international business strategies and work culture at Japanese companies.

Support for interns who participates in this program includes:

  • Allowance: 4,000 Japanese Yen per day for living expenses for the entire internship period
  • 2-way economy class airfare
  • Travel insurance and internship insurance
  • Transportation and accommodation costs during the training program.

FPT University students showed great interest in the information given in the seminar. They also did not hesitate to ask practical questions regarding to the application conditions and working environment in Japan or other opportunities offered by this program.

In addition, representatives of PasonaTech also shared and gave some recommendation on interview and opportunities for IT students with a good knowledge of English instead of Japanese, etc.
