FPT University students enjoy “Omotenashi” workshop

Nearly 50 FPT University students came to the “Omotenashi” workshop and gained more knowledge about Japanese culture and working environment.

Following the success of previous workshops, Personal Development Program Department in corporation with GlobalTraining, VietYang, SVP, STVG and VJCC recently held an “Omotenashi” workshop for all interested students who are interested in Japanese culture.

Lecture Akira Miyata started the workshop with the meaningful story named “Three Cups of Tea” to help people visualize the communication style of the Japanese people.

The workshop took place in an active atmosphere, each issue set out by lecture Akira received the enthusiastic response from students. Notably, some students of the Japanese language were confident in communicating with Mr. Akira without an interpreter.

Mr. Akira also gave students small gift from Japan. “Participating in the workshop is a right decision where Mr. Akira has brought a lot of useful knowledge and information for us and I like the gift as well,” Phuc- a student of FPT University shared.

The workshop provided students with a deep understanding of “Customer First” with six principles including understanding, politeness, safety, comfort, effective and trust through the share of Mr. Akira.
