FPT University is the only representative of Vietnam to receive the prestigious ICT Education Award 2018 from the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO).
Mr. David Chang-Secretary General ASOCIO has sent a congratulatory letter and invited the leaders of FPT University to receive the prestigious ICT Education Award 2018. This award will be given by ASOCIO Chairman – Mr. David Wong at the ASOCIO ICT Summit Gala Dinner on November 8 in Tokyo (Japan).
In the context of Industrial Revolution 4.0 with high demand for high quality human resources, ICT Education Award is the evidence for the hard efforts in innovation in training and research in ICT of FPT University in particular and FPT Education in general. This is a continuous process of innovation, creativity and pioneering in teaching and training students of the institution. At the same time, the award will be the motivation, encouraging FPT University to grow, develop and continue its mission of pioneering technology and software training.
In addition, the ICT Education Award also emphasizes the company’s mission to innovate training programs and develop research in order to further improve FPT human resources, serving “Digital Transformation” in Vietnam, in the region and in the world.
The Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO) is an ICT federation organized by ICT associations representing 24 economies throughout the Asia Pacific. ASOCIO was established in Tokyo, Japan in 1984 and it is the most time-honoured and active international ICT trade organization in Asia and Oceania. its influence covers more than 10,000 ICT companies and represents approximately USD 350 billion of ICT revenue in the region. ASOCIO’s objective is to promote, encourage and foster relationships and trade among its members, and to develop the computing industry in the region.
Presently, ASOCIO comprises of 24 members from Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Hong kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Lao PDR, Macao, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Today, ASOCIO’s members account for more than 10,000 ICT companies and represent approximately us$350 billion of ICT revenue in the region.
