FPT Software ranked the 4th in the Top 100 Global Outsourcing

Fortune Magazine (USA) has just announced that FPT Software is the only representative of Vietnam in the top 100 global outsourcing service providers.

“Companies on the list of The Global Outsourcing 100 have and will prove their excellence on a global scale,” IAOP wrote in a statement. This is the fourth time in succession FPT Software has been honored by IAOP (International Professional Outsourcing Association) in the list. There are two groups that are Leader and Rising Star. FPT representative is in the Leader group with most of the IT giants of India.

The top 100 global outsourcing services are various from information technology, facility services, real estate, capital management, manufacturing to logistics. IAOP rankings are based on the criteria of size & growth, customer satisfaction (Delivery Excellence), awards and certifications, ability to innovate (Programs For Innovation, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

For the fourth consecutive year, FPT Software was listed as the Top 100  outsourcing - football called ‘poker’. In the list, 'giants' like the new HCL reached 5 stars, the rest usually in groups of 2-3 stars. This year, FPT Software continued to receive three-star rating from IAOP, the high level in the top 100.

In particular, FPT Software was awarded as the criterion including the satisfaction level of customers; certificates and awards; social responsibility. This is an impressive increase because FPT Software was only marked as 1 star in the satisfaction level of customers in the list of 2016.

This is the twelfth year that IAOP has announced this list and FPT Software is the only Vietnamese company to have been in the rankings for the past four years, in addition to other major companies worldwide in the same field as Accenture; HCL Technologies, Tata Communications, etc. Representatives of IAOP; Frankfurt School of Finance & Management; Thomson Reuters; Rio Tinto …

Over the past three years, FPT Software’s sales milestone has grown by 30%. In 2013, it was up to $100 million. In 2014, this number increased to $138 million, up to 38%; by 2015, it was $181 million (31%) and $230 million (27%) respectively in 2016.

“In recent years, FPT Software has been consistent with its goal of achieving $1 billion and 30,000 employees by 2020. To achieve this target, FPT software needs to grow somewhere around 30% annually,” FPT Software President, Mr. Hoang Nam Tien shared recently.

According to Mr. Tien, the basis for FPT Software to always set high growth targets for many years and the next 3 years is an opportunity from the global market. Gartner forecasts that the IT services market will reach $981 billion in 2018, an increase of 4.7% over 2016; enterprise software service will reach $380 billion in 2018, up to 7% over 2017.

‘At the same time, outsourcing service will contribute to 57% of market growth. By 2020, this market size will reach nearly $1,100 billion. This is a great opportunity for Vietnamese software exports”, Mr.Tien emphasized.

Earlier on June 15th, the Nikkei Asian Review, the leading media conglomerate in Japan, announced the list of Asia 300, Asia’s most valuable and effective business group. FPT is the only IT Company in ASEAN in the list.
