FPT open office in Colorado’s biggest city

FPT has officially opened an office in Denver, Colorado’s largest city, to promote its operation with some major US airlines.

According to  CEO of FPT USA Dang Tran Phuong, setting up an office in Denver aims to quickly reach out to and support customers in the area. At present, there are around 40 employees working here.

FPT is one of the few Vietnamese IT companies to make a mark in the U.S. At present, FPT has offices in five major US cities including Texas, Denver, Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, Renton and over 150 employees from 15 countries. The company provides IT services to more than 20 leading US corporations in the field of aircraft manufacturing, elevator control system design, satellite television and banking.

Recently, FPT signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the US’s United Parcel Service (UPS), the leader in global logistics, with revenue standing at USD61 billion in 2016. Under the cooperation agreement, FPT will become a strategic partner of UPS, providing advanced technology solutions and efficient IT services to help it expand its business, optimize its operations, and bring benefits to customers and shareholders.

In 2016, FPT eyed VND1,003 billion revenue from the U.S. It is expected to reach VND1,300 billion in 2017.
