This is the confirmation of Ms. Hien Nguyen – Dean of FPT Education Global in the scholarship launching ceremony held by the Embassy of Vietnam on March 17.
The Embassy of Vietnam in India recently held a ceremony on March 17 to announce 113 scholarships for Vietnamese students under the Ambassador Scholarship 2021 program.
The Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam has collaborated with four Indian universities to offer an Ambassador scholarship programme for students of Vietnam to study undergraduate and postgraduate courses here.
The collaboration is with four institutes, namely, Integral University, Lucknow, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Bhubaneshwar, Rishihood University in Sonepat and Sharda University in Uttar Pradesh. While Integral University will provide six scholarships to Vietnamese students under the Ambassadors Scholarship programme every year, KIIT will provide 75 scholarships, Rishiwood will provide 10 scholarships and Sharda will provide 22 scholarships.
Ambassador of Vietnam to India, HE Pham Sanh Chau said “Our objective is to stimulate and facilitate the development of collaborative and mutually beneficial programs which serve to enhance the intellectual life and cultural development of both countries and to contribute to increased international cooperation between India & Vietnam”.
Speaking at the event, Ms. Hien Nguyen – Dean of FPT Education Global shared that India is one of the important strategic country partners of FPT Education. The country has a number of reasons to become an ideal destination for Vietnamese students and FPT Education Global always accompanies the Embassy of Vietnam in India to enjoy reputable education. On the other hand, Vietnam also offers a lot of opportunities for Indian students to experience international education standards in one of the most dynamic countries in Southeast Asia.
Previously, FPT Education Global corporated with the Embassy of Vietnam in India organized the webinar titled as “New Prospects of Foreign Investment and Higher Education Development between Vietnam and South Asia”. The webinar has witnessed the attendance of university partners and education agencies in Vietnam and South Asia to promote Vietnam as a potential educational destination because of its political stability and sustainable economic growth.
Even in the context of a pandemic, Vietnam still maintains positive growth and is improving its position-becoming one of the fastest-growing economies in ASEAN. In addition, with regard to the rise of internships abroad, working opportunities at foreign and multinational companies in Vietnam are developing day by day.
