FPT among top 50 in Vietnam for 6 consecutive years

The corporation has become the only technology company makes it to the list of ’50 most effective businesses in the country’ in 2017. The ‘Top 50’ chart is the annual event held by the partnership between ‘Nhip Cau Dau Tu’ (Investment Bridge) magazine and Thien Viet securities.

The two partners receive the consultation from economic & business experts of Harvard Business School. The rankings are referenced from the world’s prestigious charts such as Bloomberg Businessweek, Fortune, Global Forbes.

 

By the end of 2016, FPT recorded the consolidated revenue of 40545 billion VND, increased by 1.4% from 2015. Pre-tax profit was 3,014 billion VND, after-tax was 2,576 billion VND, increased by 6% over the previous year.

 

According to the Nhip Cau Dau Tu magazine, the top 50 results are based on the measurement of business results of listed companies on the Vietnamese stock market, based on three growth indicators: revenue, return on equity (ROE) and return on stock for 3 consecutive years.

 

According to the latest report on first-quarter revenue in 2017, FPT has recorded the consolidated sales of 9768 billion VND, up by 14% over the same period of the previous year, 106% effective. Pre-tax profit increased by 14% over the same period of 2016, accomplishing 643 billion VND, equivalent to 107% of the full-year target. After-tax profit reached 540 billion VND, up by 21% over the same period of the year before.
