Explore Japan Culture Day at FPT University

More than 100 students of FPT University and Japan attended the Japan Culture Day  organized by FPT International Student Exchange Center – FISEC.

The Japan Culture Day organized by FISEC recently took place on March 4 at FPT Building, An Don Industrial Park, Son Tra District, Danang City. The event has attracted more than 100 Vietnamese and international students from Shinshu University, Hibiya University, Shibaura Institute of Technology, Bunkyo University, Kyutech Institute of Technology (Japan), Brunei Darussalam (Brunei), Khon Kaen University, Panyapiwat Institute of Management (Thailand); University of Binus (Indonesia).

The Japan Culture Day organized by FISEC recently took place on March 4 at FPT Building, An Don Industrial Park, Son Tra District, Danang City.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Linh- a representative of FISEC shared that the culture exchange activities aims to create playground for FPT students as well as international students. The program is also open to all participants in Danang who are interested in meeting international students.

“These activities enhance cooperation between FISEC – FPT University and foreign universities,” he said. “Japan has a large number of students at FISEC”.

Hundreds of FPTU students in Danang learnt and experienced Japanese culture.

Currently, FISEC continues to maintain and develop the regular number of students from foreign partner schools coming to Vietnam. The center is constantly improving the quality and diversifying its services to meet the increasing demands in the fields of restaurants, hotels and information technology.

Through the introduction on history, culture, traditional costumes and culinary specialties, foreign students hope Vietnamese people could understand more about their culture.

“The next step is to set up new educational partners from all over the world including ASEAN, Australia and Europe,” he said.

FISEC – working under globalization strategy of FPT University, is responsible for the coordination of inbound and outbound students. The center manages the promotion of the international mobility programmes for students, maintains and develops relationships with professors and universities abroad.

Furthermore, it endeavors to support FPT Univerisity’s internationalisation with different culture exchange activities and programs. Every year, over 400 students from all around the world come to FPT University for Exchange, Study Abroad and Internship programs. In 2013, nearly 500 students from France, Denmark, Portugal, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Brunei and Taiwan chose us for their study abroad experience.

FISEC plays a key role in the international student process and the “Go Global” strategy of FPT University to increase student mobility, which is critical in the development of high-quality human resources needed for a fast changing business world.
