Passage to ASEAN Program for FPT University students will be held at PGRI University in Indonesia within 3 days from October 2 to 4 with the purpose of creating an useful playground for students to improve their knowledge, culture as well as language and communication skills.
Developed by Rangsit University (Thailand). Passage to ASEAN (P2A) is an exchange program that helps students enhance the understanding of the cultural and local life of the countries in the region. Up to date, there have been 46 schools in nine ASEAN countries (except Brunei) involved in the P2A. All students in the ASEAN region are given the best possible conditions to travel through ASEAN at least one time during their student life.
During this trip, UPGRIS University established by Indonesian, will be the next destination for FPT students. UPGRIS commits to bring authentic local experiences due to its location in the center of Semarang, which is a mixture of tradition and modernity. The area is famous for its magnificent views from the harbors, rice paddies to cities hiding between mountains.
With a variety of exciting activities, the three-day program provides an opportunity to learn about Indonesia’s country, its culture and people. A discussion on the required skills for the 21st– century Asian generation will give you an opportunity to express your thoughts and exchange ideas. The exciting Gamelan Folk Music Workshop will bring a better understanding of traditional Indonesian music development. There are also sightseeing tours including Old City, Semarang Contemporary Art Gallery, Lawang Sewu, etc. and enjoy the typical street food such as Lumpia. The journey takes students to the famous Kampung Batik fashion paradise of Indonesia and ends with the sharing from the participants about their own experience during the trip.
