Inspired by the Amazing Race, the “Experience Thai culture” program from August 7 to August 10 has brought 35 FPT students to join fascinating challenges at the most popular attactions in Bangkok such as Wat Pho, the Royal Palace of Thailand, Bang Khu Wiang – Wat Phur- Yaowarat Road Floating Market, CentralWorld Trade Center, etc.
As soon as all teams arrived at the airport, they received 3G sims and started the first challenge –“Getting home”. Quite confident with English, all students thought that they could figure out the challenge easily due to the difference of English pronunciation in Thailand.
Thirty- five students have an unforgettable journey to experience all kinds of vehicles from couches, taxi, bus, ferry, tuk tuk, submarine and walking. The average km per day recorded by a candidate is approximately 15km.
Sharing about the experience of traveling by tuk tuk, Ms. Trinh Phuong Anh – Officer of International Cooperation and Personal Development Department who accompanied with students on this trip said that “If you are a fan of speed, try Tuk tuk and you won’t be disappointed! “
“Traveling by tuk tuk made me feel I acted in Fast & Furious 9 movie,” Dinh Lan Huong, a student excitedly said.
In addition, the funniest challenge is probably “Pose for a picture as your favourite animal” game. Students are free to choose animals and had very funny and unique pictures.
Bargain is also an unforgettable memory with FPT students. “The soap price is different every place. Others have bargained from 100 bath to 50 bath so I think 40 bath is reasonable,” Ms. Chau Nguyen Thao Duong shared. “Unfortunately, another student bought it at only 25-30 bath”.
The 4-day and 3-night trip of 35 FPT students ended up with a lot of memorable moments. Hopefully after this outstanding journey, FPT students will improve their health, intelligence, communication, problem solving and survive skills.
